Eid marks the end of the month of Ramadan where Muslims were fasting for a month. If you celebrated Eid today or yesterday, it does not matter. Just have a blessed day and enjoy the time with loved ones.
Ensure that you give thanks to God and continue with the good deeds from Ramadan. Strive to be a better version of yourself in the eyes of Allah and take this chance to remember how lucky you are. There are Muslims out there who are being tortured. There are Muslims out there who were opening their fasts to the sound of bombs and the smell of smoke.
We should take this chance to recognize what we have in life and how fortunate we are to have a roof over our head, food and water and people around us who we can go to for guidance. Donate to a local charity or help out your friends and family. Remember to be a good Muslim for anyone and everyone and show the community why Muslims are peaceful human beings.
You probably already have done by this point but stuff your faces with as much food as you can. Feast away and lick your plates clean when you are done. Give thanks to the people who prepared your food.
Have a blessed Eid everybody!
