Tips For New Bloggers

Tips For New Bloggers Picture
Being a new blogger can be scary and you may not know what to do so this post has been created to help those of you who wish to blog

I took up blogging because I have always wanted to help and I have always went out of my way to help others. So I thought to myself, “What am I good at?” I immediately thought of education and I have always utilised tips and tricks to make my educational journey as easy as possible all while obtaining the top grades.

So the first thing you should think about when beginning your blogging career is to start off knowing what it is you are going to write about. You must then know your audience and the particular crowd you want reading your blogs. This will enable you to drill down the content you wish to put out for your audience.

The next step is to have content ideas to see if the area you will be writing about is sufficient enough. If you cannot think up 50 ideas (that’s my ballpark but you may have your own), then is it really worth writing about? Your area of what you will be writing about must be able to fill out for a long time.

When you begin writing your blog posts, then search up ways to improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization) so that more people can benefit from your blog. Also, put the blog posts on all of your social media to generate traffic and to get people talking about your blog posts. Follow blogs which you really connect with. Please do not follow blogs for the sake of it. The blogger will know when you are faking it so only follow blogs you have a genuine interest in.

When people comment on your blog posts, then offer your gratitude. Also, comment on their blog posts and like their posts. Take an interest in what they have to say. Remember that bloggers love when you take an interest in their life. I have built a rapport with many bloggers on this platform and I am very appreciative and grateful for every single one. Right now, I do have work and other personal things going on which means that I cannot respond as quickly as I would like but note that I will always respond and will always support each and every single one of your blogs.

Do not get into blogging for the money. Yes, blogging can be a good way to earn money if you build good traffic but don’t let this be the primary reason for your blog. It can be A reason but not the primary because it takes a long process for you to even receive the smallest amounts. So you will eventually give up at the first huddle. Ensure that this is what you want to do and go for it.

Be consistent with your blog posts. This does not mean to write every single day. No,no,no! Have a schedule mapped out and stick to it! Your readers will come to terms with your schedule and will expect you to write consistently according to that schedule. If you are slacking and you do not stick to your schedule, then your readers will become frustrated and will not want to read your content anymore. Or you will find that you have lost a follower.

Keep your headlines catchy and direct. This will pull in the readers and will make them intrigued as to the content you are writing. The more intrigue you have, the quicker the followers will go up and the better rapport you can build with your readers. You may have the best content in the world but if your headlines are not great, then no one will read your blog.

Have a love and passion for blogging because if you have a passion for it, then it will be great for you and you will feel good when readers take an interest in your blog!
