Grow Silently

Grow Silently
Learn not to show off everything you have and to grow in silence!

There will always be people who wish for your downfall even though to you, they may seem like your best friend or a good character. This is why you should always grow in silence. Take the good with the good and the bad with the bad. Learn to embrace failure and grow without having the need to post on all your social media accounts how well you’re doing.

If you like posting on social media, then also post your failures too. Your audience will appreciate the fact that you are taking them on your journey and will also connect with you more as a human being.

I have learnt from my own experiences that taking on new adventures and growing myself as an individual is the best thing I have ever done. I always like to post on social media to bring my readers on the journey with me. The growth period should be done in silence to avoid anyone putting you down on this transitional phase.

A quote which I really like is:

“A seed grows with no sound but a tree falls with huge noise.”

  1. A friend and I were talking about trying new things (like a keyboard we just bought). I can’t play piano, but I was excited to try. He said “there are going to be times when you hate doing it. There are going to be times when you don’t want to do it anymore- if you can accept that and push through it, you’ll be fine.”

It seemed like such a “duh” moment, but it’s nice to recall when I’m feeling stuck or unmotivated.

    Good read! Thanks for sharing

    • That’s a great story and your friend seems like a really motivational guy. That’s the kind of energy you want around you in order to become successful.

I am glad my blog offered value to you. If you ever feel in need of motivation, look no further than my blog and I’m sure there will be a blog post to lift you up again.

If there is anything you would like me to write about, please do let me know and I shall definitely write about it.

  2. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Kamran. I love the seed quote. It definitely makes you think.

Growing in silence is a tough one for me. There’s definitely a time to speak and a time to stay silent, but I’m still studying and learning which is which. Planning too far ahead is another tough one for me. As a Christian I walk by faith, not by sight. That means I am very dependant on God every step of the way. I guess that’s a plan in and of itself: trust God’s plan.

I suppose this would be one of my quotes on plans:

“People can make all kinds of plans, but only the Lord’s plan will happen.” –Proverbs 19:21

    And

“Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.” –Ecclesiastes 11:6

  3. Silence speaks volumes. It helps to be motivated to success when we operate in an attitude of silence. There is no need to blow our trumpets which will be a distraction in pursuing our goals. The moment when we begin to blow our trumpet and announcing our moves to all; then some people kill our dreams with their negativity.

  4. Couldn’t agree more because I feel like social media should be use minimially just for entertainment purposes. I’m working on personal growth now and I’m mostly offline so the process of growing silently is just the best feeling ever. Great post 🙂
