Stop Saying You Have No Time!
There are many hurdles on the road to success and a noteworthy obstacle is time. It always seems like you never have enough time to do what you truly want, right? Know that this mentality is purely psychological and there are many things you can do to be effective at all times.
Waking up early and attacking the day is a brilliant example of utilising time to its fullest. In my case, I am definitely guilty of waking up occasionally at 04:30 and then going back to bed so this is a skill I need to improve upon also. I feel with this skill, you can plan what you want to do for the rest of the day. A lot of successful people are early risers and they talk about this topic of waking up early to put in hours for their goals. Dwayne Johnson wakes up early to go to the gym, as does Mark Wahlberg. Both of these individuals are at the peak of their respective fields and are widely renowned as being hard workers. Perhaps their commonality in being early risers plays a huge part in this?
I think tracking your time and planning out your day is crucial to being effective with how you spend your time. It is very easy to get swayed to go out and party or to do something which is not congruous to your long-term goals. If you were to go a whole day without doing something productive and you then reflected on the day and wrote what you did hour by hour, there would definitely be blocks of the day you could replace. I can guarantee it!
Having a positive mindset towards everything you do will allow you to create time in your schedule for whatever it is you need to do that day to get one step closer towards accomplishing your goals. If you tell yourself you don’t have time to do this, to do that etc, then of course you won’t. However, if you shifted your mentality to say that you will make time to read or you will make time to go to the gym, then these thoughts will become reality.
I sincerely hope that this post offered value to you and it allows you to become better version of yourselves 🙂
